Screening is required for all children prior to attending Kindergarten in the state of Minnesota. The ideal age to screen children is between 3 and 3 1/2. We offer 3 screening days per year and appointments as available during the year.

    The state of Minnesota requires that all children be screened before entering kindergarten. Screening is a sampling of skills in developmental areas, which helps determine if there are learning concerns that should be addressed before your child begins school. The recommended age for screening is 3 to 4 years old. These appointments are open to residents of Esko school district.
