ECFE is a program of information and support for parents and their young children, from birth to kindergarten age. It offers help and ideas through group discussions, parent-child activities, and quality early childhood education. The purpose of the program is to help strengthen the family by providing support to parents as they work to meet their child's developmental needs.
ECFE helps you develop your role as a parent. These beginning years of your child's life is crucial. Intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth occur rapidly from birth to age 5. At no other time will your child's development be as great. Your home is the child's first learning environment. During these most important years, you as the parent, are the child's most significant teacher.
