  • Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE)

ECFE is a program of information and support for parents and their young children, from birth to kindergarten age. It offers help and ideas through group discussions, parent-child activities, and quality early childhood education. The purpose of the program is to help strengthen the family by providing support to parents as they work to meet their child's developmental needs. ECFE helps you develop your role as a parent. These beginning years of your child's life is crucial. Intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth occur rapidly from birth to age 5. At no other time will your child's development be as great. Your home is the child's first learning environment. During these most important years, you as the parent, are the child's most significant teacher.

  • Pre-K Programs

Esko Early Learning Preschool is a 4-star Parent Aware rated program for children 3 to 5 years of age. This program, through age-appropriate curriculum, prepares children to enter into kindergarten with the necessary skills, behavior and stability they need to flourish and progress. Our preschool is located in the Esko Education Center, 16 E Hwy 61, next door to the main Esko School building. The program is staffed by qualified licensed teachers. Our Early Learning Philosophy is that kids are confident, happy, healthy, adjusted, socialized, and independent little people. Confidence is key! We use a play-based approach when it comes to teaching young children. Our belief is that a child’s work is play, and through play children develop social, emotional, cognitive, and motor skills. Registration will open at Noon on March 11, 2024 Stepping Stones (must be 3 by Sept. 1st 2024) and School Readiness (must be 4 by Sept. 1st 2024) both cover all of the above in preparing children for future learning. School Readiness Discovery is a new class which offers a more STEM based option. This class will both spend more time outdoors, and will also take in extra field trips to allow a deeper exploratory learning style. Discovery will have a $200 one time registration fee. This fee covers the registration, field trip costs, and transportation costs. School Readiness and Stepping Stones have a $40 registration fee. When combining the School Readiness class and School Readiness Discovery classes, your child will have a 5 day of week learning experience. These classes are also each available individually. All students must come prepared everyday to go outside. Our teachers will determine the amount of time spent outside based on the weather. All students entering, Stepping Stones, School Readiness, and Discovery must be fully toilet trained.
