  • After School Club Text Alerts

    Do you want to be the first to know when new After School Classes are open online? Register for free text alerts! Those registered on this list will receive a monthly text reminder to check out what After School Enrichment opportunities are available in Eleyo. We will also send an alert when a new class becomes available! Registrant must: Be an adult. Ensure they have a valid email and phone number in their Eleyo profile. Choose “yes” to receiving text messages. While registration is free, you will need to go through the entire checkout process for registration to be completed. You will only need to register once. If at any time you’d like to be removed from the text list, please email edavey@esko.k12.mn.us or call the Community Ed office at 218-879-4038.
  • Savannah's Pottery

    Students will make their own unique, hand-painted ceramic projects with Savannah's Pottery. Projects will be returned to students at school in about 2-3 weeks. Scroll down to enroll for class offerings each month.   • Northern Outdoors Club

    Northern Outdoors Club is an Esko-based business offering Nature Education. Class topics include everything from survival techniques to camp fire cooking and nature-based art projects. March 12th - Fire Master Become a fire master by learning about the elements needed to create fire during this class. Then, learn and practice the many methods and skills it takes to create fire! All hand-on learning, so make sure to bring dry winter gear. March 24th - Shed Hunting Adventure! Come along for an adventure with Cassie (and possibly her dog, Winter!) in the school forest for some information on shed hunting - not the kind you buy at Home Depot. We will hike the trails, look for common deer signs, and focus on how and where to find sheds in the big woods! Each student will find one antler to take home during our time together. Pickup for this class is at 5:00 PM at the school forest, by the hockey rinks. April 23rd - Archeology Dig Become the next Indiana Jones and discover animal bones to recreate skeletons, use a metal detector to find potential treasure, paint a take-home fossil and sift for arrowheads, fossils and jewels in this super interactive hands-on class. Every student will get to take home a chunk of geode after they learn how to safely break it open. Mondays, May 4th, 11th, 18th - Archery 101 Come and join in 3 fun archery days! During this time, you will learn all about bows and how to confidently shoot them while being safe. There will be traditional NASP scoring targets and 3d animal targets to practive nailing those arrows on. Extra activities include: archery games, candy/freeze shootouts, tournaments and more!   • LEGO Robotics

    Hang out with Miss Granholm for the afternoon and learn to build and control LEGO Robots! **LEGO Robotics 2nd grade intro class is for 2nd graders looking for an introduction to LEGO Robotics. Please only register for 1 of the intro sessions. 2nd graders will be using less complicated kits.** LEGO Robotics grades 3-6 classes will open for registration on the following dates: March session will open on February 20th April session will open on March 19th May session will open on April 16th Registration Closes one day prior to class starting.

    Gather your friends and join local board game company, Oaken Hollow Games to learn how to play Tinker! Are you ready for mini mech (robot) mayhem!? Join us as we teach you how to play Tinker: the mini mech trading game. Tinker is the newest game created by Oaken Hollow Games! In this game, you customize a miniature robot to battle against your friends to see who’s the best pilot! Price of class includes your very own copy of the game! See photos below for some games in action!

  • Elementary Spring Track & Field

    Get ready to run, jump and throw! Elementary Track and Field Club is open to students in grades 3-6 and will take place after school at the high school athletic complex/track until 4:45. A breakdown of what students will focus on in the program May 7th - Sprinting May 14th - Distance May 21st - Jumps and throws After checking in in the cafeteria, students will walk with staff to the Esko athletic complex. Pick up will be at 4:45 at the Esko athletic complex. If your child attends Cool Kids, there will NOT be staff available to pick them up at the field. Registration will Close Wednesday, May 6th. No registrations will be taken after this date.
